My Review

As I’ve said in many of my other reviews, I’m not one for romance, but wow. Not only am I impressed by the story, but also by the author’s writing abilities. She was able to give each character their own seperate voice that was recognizable without dialogue tags. While this book has one that comes before it, it is possible to read it without reading the others. Though, now that I’ve read this one, I want to read the ones that come before it!
As The Light Fades is a touching story of hope and redemption, of learning when to forgive, and let go. It was a refreshing and uplifting read. This was my first foray into contemporary women’s fiction, but it was definitely worth it.
